Justine Voros Dawe

Justine “Chris” (Voros) Dawe, 85, of Trumbull, wife of the late Franklyn P. Dawe, died on December 22 in Hamilton, N.Y.

Born in Bridgeport, Mrs Dawe had been a lifelong area resident.

Survivors include three sons, Barry P. Dawe and his wife Jean of Newtown, Alan R. Dawe of Earlville, N.Y., , and Rodger W. Dawe of Trumbull; a grandson, Erik P. Dawe of Newtown; two sisters, Elsie Fico of Bridgeport and Margaret Scibek of Southport; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to being a devoted and caring homemaker, she held various office positions, retiring as a secretary at St Vincent’s Medical Center in Bridgeport.

A funeral service was held on December 29 at the Spear Funeral Home, 39 South Benson Road, Fairfield with the Rev Mark Moore officiating. Interment followed in Mountain Grove Cemetery, Bridgeport.
