Charlene        Carboni

Charlene (Stevens) Carboni, 58, of Newtown, beloved wife of William F. Carboni, died January 2 at Danbury Hospital.

Charlene was born in Ridgefield, June 14, 1946, daughter of Howard and Marion (Scofield) Stevens. She attended Ridgefield schools, graduated from Ridgefield High School, attended the Fashion Institute of Technology and graduated from the Berkeley School of New York. After living in California for 16 years, she returned to Connecticut.

In addition to her husband of 37 years, she is survived by a daughter, Jennifer Murphy and her husband Karl and their two adored children Kayla and Kyle of Woodbury; and her sister Sally Sossei and her husband Edward of Bethlehem.

Funeral services were held in the Kane Funeral Home, 25 Catoonah Street, Ridgefield, on January 5. Interment will take place in Ridgefield Cemetery in the spring.
