Celebrated Gardner Speaks To Fellow St Margaret Alumnae Â
Newtown resident Sydney Webber Eddison, a 1950 graduate of St Margaret-McTernan in Waterbury, was recently the featured speaker for a gardening lecture for the schoolâs alumnae. Ms Eddison, a prolific writer and well-known gardener, presented, âThe Rainbow Contained â Experimenting with Color in Containers.â Ms Eddison has also been featured in magazines and on television. She received the Connecticut Horticultural Societyâs Gustav A.L. Melquist Award in 2002.
