Celebrated Gardner Speaks To Fellow St Margaret Alumnae  

Newtown resident Sydney Webber Eddison, a 1950 graduate of St Margaret-McTernan in Waterbury, was recently the featured speaker for a gardening lecture for the school’s alumnae. Ms Eddison, a prolific writer and well-known gardener, presented, “The Rainbow Contained — Experimenting with Color in Containers.” Ms Eddison has also been featured in magazines and on television. She received the Connecticut Horticultural Society’s Gustav A.L. Melquist Award in 2002.
