Poetry Reading For Youngsters

DANBURY — Ridgefield poet Thalia Marakee will read from her new collection of children’s poetry, If Gumdrops Fell Like Raindrops, on Sunday, January 28, at Barnes & Noble. Ms Marakee’s reading will begin at 3 pm and there is no charge to attend.

The poet’s works examine children’s feelings and experiences with an appealing, light-hearted touch that all ages can understand and enjoy. The bookstore is in Danbury Square, at 15 Backus Avenue.
