Martha Jane Cross Presnell, 56, of 346 Deck Valley Road, Bristol, Tenn., died January 4 at Wellmont Hospice House.
She was a native of Bristol, Tenn., a graduate of Holston Valley High School and had lived in Newtown and Danbury for 22 years before moving back to the Bristol area.
She was the widow of James E. Presnell, faithful member of Bethel View Baptist Church and was an employee of Federal Pacific Transformers.
Survivors include special friend Ed Kerns of Bristol, Tenn.; two stepsons, Jim Presnell of Savannah, Ga. and Mark Presnell of Palm Harbor, Fla.; and five grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted January 6 in the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev John Rayburn, Dewey Shaffer and the Rev Allen Brummitt officiating. Burial was in Florence Union Cemetery.
