A New Series Begins January 23
DANBURY â âBeethoven Piano Sonatas for the Millennium,â a series of six recitals to be presented by the Danbury Music Centre throughout the year, commences on Sunday, January 23, at 3 pm.
Diane Spencer, a Redding resident, will perform Piano Sonatas Numbers 1, 4, 23, 24 and 25 in the Marian Anderson Recital Hall, at 256 Main Street in Danbury. Ms Spencer will continue the series on February 20 and March 26, as well as three final recitals later in the year.
Ms Spencerâs numerous performance credits include solo appearances at the Bruno Walter Auditorium in Lincoln Center and at the Donnel Library in New York City as well as chamber music concerts with the Alexander String Quartet at Columbia University.
