Edmond Town Hall Theatre, the historic theater and movie house located at 45 Main Street, is proud to announce that The Colonial Automobile Group has been named Co-Title Sponsor for the 2023 Spring Concert Series.

David Beylouni, president of Colonial Automobile Group, commented: “As a business owner in the Greater Danbury area for over 30 years, and a Newtown resident for over 25 years, it gives me great pleasure to support ETH and all the good things it brings to our community.”

Connie Widmann of Connie Widmann & Team will co-sponsor the series with The Colonial Automobile Group. Widmann’s sponsorship was announced last week.

The 2023 series will include the following live performances: “Memories of Elvis — The Ultimate Elvis Tribute,” on Friday, January 6; a Queen tribute band in March (artist to be announced on January 30), and then Elton John tribute band Bennie & The Jets on May 13.

Edmond Town Hall Board of Managers Chair Jennifer Guman said she and the board “are thrilled to have the continued support of Connie Widmann and The Colonial Automobile Group as it allows us to provide our community with live music!”

Beer, wine, and concessions are available for purchase at live events.

“Memories of Elvis,” on January 6, features three renowned Elvis Tribute Artists who sing and perform the songs of Elvis Presley from three unforgettable moments throughout his illustrious musical career: Early Elvis of the 1950s and 1960s, Elvis On-Stage in Las Vegas, and Elvis during his “Aloha” Tour in Hawaii. Each of the three performers meticulously re-creates the look, sound and feel of classic Elvis Presley concerts.

Tickets are $35, and the music starts at 8 pm. There will be a meet and greet after the show with all three performers.

Edmond Town Hall, completed in 1931 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, was a gift from Newtown benefactor Mary Elizabeth Hawley. It has served as the center of the community and the heart of Newtown since its inception by providing generations of residents and neighbors with governmental services space; affordable family entertainment through its proscenium theater; sports opportunities in its gymnasium; and elegant space in its Alexandria banquet hall for gatherings, fundraisers, civic events or to celebrate life events.

The Edmond Town Hall Board of Managers is a group of electors responsible for the planning and oversight of the iconic building. Visit edmondtownhall.org for sponsorship details, event tickets, and more information.
