Claire Miles, daughter of Mr and Mrs Albert Miles of Newtown, received second honors for the fall semester at The Hotchkiss School in Lakeville. Second honors students achieved an overall average of  A-minus at the school.

Austin Hubbert, son of Mr and Mrs Gregory McKay Hubbert of Newtown, and Emma Iannini, daughter of Dr and Mrs George Michael Iannini of Sandy Hook, were both named to the fall term 2011 Deans’ List at Choate Rosemary Hall, Wallingford.

Newtown resident Ariana E. Dominicus was named to the fall 2011 Honor Roll at The Gunnery, Washington, Conn.
