Motorcycle Accident
During the evening rush at about 5:30 pm January 4, motorcyclist John J. OâBrien, Jr, 46, of Milford, who was driving a 2003 Ducati eastward on Berkshire Road near Zoar Road, lost control of the motorcycle and struck some guardrailing along the right road shoulder, police report.
The impact threw OâBrien from the motorcycle and he came to rest down an embankment along the right side of the road, police said.
Ambulance volunteers transported OâBrien to Danbury Hospital for treatment of a leg injury. Sandy Hook firefighters went to the accident, which created travel delays in the area.
Police are investigating the accident and ask any witnesses to contact them at 426-5841.
