Junior Girls

Gaels 33, Celtics 13 – Meredith LaPerch canned 17 points and Kathleen Fay added five to lead the Gaels to the win. Steph Spath and Marissa Cucco played well. For the Celtics, Emma Fiore popped in seven points while Hannah DeFlumeri and Nicole Escoda grabbed seven rebounds apiece. Maggie Reznikoff made 10 steals and Casey Router played well.

Pacers 28, Kids On The Court 23 – Brittany Wiberg poured in 18 points and grabbed 12 rebounds to lead the Pacers to the win. Katie Pessin and Katie Hunt played well. For the Kids, Ali Plizska scored 12 points – 11 of those in the fourth quarter alone – while Meghan Gibbons added four. Emma Kingsley grabbed six rebounds and Meaghan Wilson played well on defense.

Bulls 20, Knicks 12 – Kaley Kruger scored seven points to lift the Bulls past the Knicks. Carolyn Fagan, Jenna Bonacorso and Becky Lipnick played well. For the Knicks, Kristin Tassinari popped in six points and dished off four assists as Deanna Tassinari made three steals and Brady Eggleston grabbed seven rebounds.

Huskies 24, Pacers 17 – Lisa Vendel dropped in 13 points to lead the Huskies to the win. Sarah Pettinelli, Tori Picerno and Brea Lubinsky played well. For the Pacers, Brittany Wiberg had nine points and five blocked shots while Kaite Hunt, Maggie Korth and Ashley Kuligowski played well.

Junior Boys

Celtics 34, Red Devils 31 – Evan Kennedy poured in 16 points as the Celtics clipped the Devils. Bryan Czel, Tony Vacaro and Dan Greenwood played well. For the Devils, Joe Fedak popped in 10 points and Eric McCabe grabbed seven rebounds. Kyle Packer also had a good game.

Bullets 34, Knicks 23 – Ryan Daly and Matt Baier canned eight points apiece as the Bullets slipped past the Knicks. James Sharpe had eight rebounds and Tyler Covert made six steals. For the Knicks, Ken Gottschalk, Will Northrup and Josh Volpe combined for 14 points. Alex Nordstrom had a strong floor game.

Rockets 48, Deamon Deakins 39 – Shane Wurtz scored 12 points and Ben Mahony added 11 more to lift the Rockets to the win. Jamey Bowers grabbed 12 rebounds while Ryan Powers had six assists. For the Deakins, Bone Tarantino canned 13 points and CJ Portolese grabbed 11 boards. Austin Jones and Bruan Kuruc played well.

Wildcats 46, Huskies 27 – Brian Reed dropped in 10 points and John Fracker grabbed 10 boards to lead the Wildcats. Brad Biscoe dished off four assists and Rockwell Anyoha blocked several shots. For the Huskies, Theo Hartlett and John Wlasuk canned six points apiece as Dylan Huebner pulled down seven rebounds. Alex Saviano and Thomas DiLuoffo played well.

Hawkeyes 28, Orangemen 22 – Alex Miller popped in 12 points to lead the Hawkeyes to the win. Eric Hoffman, Zack Dent and Michael Tenney played well. For the Orangemen, Zach Dloughy powered the offense, Tim Lalli was tough off the glass and Evan Triantifilidis played well on D.

Saints 43, Celtics 36 – Kevin O’Connell poured in 18 points and Robbie Phillips added nine more to lead the Saints past the Celtics. Ryan Schmidt dished off six assists and Kevin McCarthy grabbed eight rebounds. For the Celtics, Evan Kennedy canned 16 points and Dan Greenwood added 12 more. Bryan Czel grabbed six rebounds and Ryan Pasko made four steals.

Eagles 48, Jaspers 39 – Max Paytner canned 17 points and Trevor Todd dished off seven assists to lead the Eagles. For the Jaspers, Chris Caulfield had 12 points as Adam Buccino put in a fine performance.
