Avery Callahan Nicholson

Ronald and Tara (LaPak) Nicholson of Newtown announce the birth of their daughter, Avery Callahan, on December 24 at Danbury Hospital.

Avery joins her sister, Bridget, 3½ years old.

The paternal grandparents are Mr and Mrs William Nicholson of Newtown.

Maternal grandparents are Frank LaPak of Newtown and the late Ellen LaPak.

Thomas Patrick Johnstone

Erik Johnstone, formerly of Newtown, and his wife, Francesca Lemmi of Verona, Italy, announce the birth of a son, Thomas Patrick Johnstone, born November 22 at 9:52 pm in Verona. He weighed 8 pounds, 2 ounces and was 21 inches in length.

Paternal grandparents are Gregg and Jane Johnstone, former Newtown residents currently posted to the American Embassy in Canberra, Australia. Jane Johnstone was present at the birth along with the maternal grandparents, Paolo Lemmi and Sarj Mariuzzo, both of Verona.
