Melvin David Doniger

Co-owner Of Homecare Pet Sitting

Melvin David Doniger, 63, formerly of Turkey Roost Road, Monroe, died December 26 at Lakewood Ranch, Bradenton, Fla. He was born September 22, 1943, in Bronx, N.Y., moving to Monroe in the summer of 1978.

Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Renee; a brother, Paul Doniger of Newtown; two daughters, Lisa Zaccagnini of Beacon Falls and Ellen Krause of Tiverton, R.I.; a son, Neil Doniger of Lakewood Ranch, Fla.; and six grandchildren.

Mr Doniger graduated from Queensborough Community College and was a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, IATSE, and IUTC. He was co-owner of Homecare Pet Sitting, LLC, and former co-owner of Flormel Adhesive Products of West Haven. He moved to Lakewood Ranch in June of 2006.

A graveside service was held December 28 at Palms Memorial Park in Florida. The family observed Shiva at their Florida home through January 4.
