UB College Of Chiropractic Is New National Test Site

The National Board of Chiropractic Examiners (NBCE) has selected the College of Chiropractic at the University of Bridgeport as a new National Board testing site, making it easier for chiropractic students in the northeast to take the necessary exams for licensure.

In order to be approved as an NBCE test site, the University of Bridgeport had to meet stringent guidelines. The UB site was chosen because of its ability to provide a safe, convenient, and user-friendly test site. Everything from room temperature and food service to lighting and desk conditions is checked and must comply with strict standards. The NBCE also inspects the site for compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act provisions and insists that the site be able to offer a distraction-free environment.

The UB College of Chiropractic currently has 223 full-time students enrolled in its four-year, post Baccalaureate program. It is the only University-affiliated chiropractic program in the US. It offers an up-to-date approach to chiropractic that integrates chiropractic principles, a research-based curriculum, and clinical learning. The unique variety of healthcare professions offered by the University of Bridgeport (Human Nutrition, Naturopathic Medicine) allows the chiropractic students to experience learning and research with other disciplines.
