Woolcrafters Group Launch Meeting Planned, Tuesday At Library
Knitters, crocheters, spinners, felt makers and needle felters, dyers, weavers, embroiders, rug hookers, and anyone into fiber arts, yarn, and textiles are all invited to join a recently formed group for a launch meeting.
Connecticut Woolcrafters Fiber Arts Community is planning its inaugural meeting for Tuesday, January 8. It will be in the Genealogy Room at C.H. Booth Library, 25 Main Street, from 10 am until 1 pm.
The new group is for the creative person who enjoys making things with wool and natural fiber.
The gathering is a free, informal meeting that is open to all. Attendees will be working on fiber projects, asking questions, sharing crafting know-how, and learning tips and tricks from group members.
Those planning to attend on January 8 are asked to bring a fiber project to work on and a finished item or two for Show & Tell so that members can get to know one another through fiber arts. Connecticut Woolcrafters will meet monthly at the library, on the second Tuesday of each month.
