Upcoming Events At Bethel Library
BETHEL â Bethel Library has announced a pair of free public programs within the next few weeks.
The book All Is Vanity by Christina Schwarz will be discussed at the library on Monday, January 14, from 7:30 to 8:45 pm. Refreshments will be served.
Book Reporter calls Ms Schwarzâs sophomore release âa winner.â The book concerns Margaret and Letty, now in their 30s, who have been best friends since childhood. Now married and living on opposite coasts, both are struggling with an identity crisis fueled by personal ambition. They continue, even at a distance, to support each other via expensive phone calls and then lengthy e-mail messages.
(Another opportunity for discussion will take place at Express Yourself Craft Store on Wednesday, January 30, from 9:30 to 11 am.)
Then on Tuesday, January 15, from 7 to 8:30 pm, the library will host professional organizer Kerri Colombo. Find out how to declutter and rediscover your space in this special free program.
Registration is requested; call the library at 794-8756 extension 4 or e-mail adult@BethelLibrary.org.
All programs sponsored by the library meet accessibility requirements for the disabled. Those needing special accommodations should contact the library two weeks prior to the program to make arrangements.
