Police Union Thanks Public For Toy Donations

In a statement, the Newtown Police Union this week expressed its thanks to the public for donating hundreds of toys to the union’s annual Toys For Tots toy collection project.

The toy collection was a success and many needy children were happy as a result of receiving toys during the holiday season, the union said.

The union collected toys in the police station lobby and also in front of a toy store at Sand Hill Plaza during the recent collection project.
