Police Seek To Return Found Items To Owners
Police are holding for safekeeping a variety of found items which they are seeking to return to their owners.
In reverse chronological order, police are holding: a Peugeot-brand watch that was found November 26 at Sand Hill Plaza on South Main Street; a red Road Master-brand mountain bicycle that was found November 14 behind Edmond Town Hall on Main Street; an Anne Klein-brand watch that was found October 31 on Main Street near Trinity Episcopal Church; a black Cobra-brand radio scanner that was found October 17 on Taunton Hill Road; a set of circa-1930 photographs bearing the name âAlvesâ that were found October 13 at the intersection of Main Street and Currituck Road; a Huffy-brand Thunder Gorge bicycle that was found October 10 behind the Big Y supermarket on Queen Street; and a silver necklace with religious medallion that was found September 14 near Treadwell Park on Philo Curtis Road.
The owners of the found items should contact Sergeant Darlene Froehlich at the police station at 3 Main Street, telephone 426-5841, to claim the items.   Â
