Louise Trompetta

Louise (Curcio) Trompetta, 89, of Stratford, died December 31 in Lord Chamberlain Healthcare. She was the grandmother of Carl J. Trompetta of Newtown.

She was the widow of Carl J. Trompetta. Born in Bridgeport, she had lived in Stratford since 1951.

In addition to her grandson, she is survived by her son, Sam J. Trompetta, of Shelton; another grandson, Daniel T. Trompetta of New Fairfield; one great-grandson, Alex Trompetta of Newtown; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral was held on January 4 in Our Lady of Grace Church with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment was in St Michael Cemetery.

The Pistey Funeral Home, 2155 Main Street, Stratford, was in charge of arrangements.
