Searching for a job? The third floor of C.H. Booth Library can help residents discover many resources to help find and get the job they want.
Resources include books that can be borrowed that will help create the best resume and cover letter and to prepare for an interview, and learn what requirements are needed and even offer job outlooks for specific positions.
Handouts with lists of websites designed to help network are also available. Eleven public computers are available to create a resume or send e-mails. Databases allow visitors identify and investigate potential employers by type of business and/or location.
Also on the third floor are the classified sections of regional newspapers, as well as business periodicals designed to give information on trends, companies, and the corporate world.
For those who are changing careers and need to practice for an exam â civil service, cosmetology, real estate, etc â practice tests can be taken and scored instantly online.
Librarians are available to help, free of charge, Monday through Thursday from 9:30 am to 8 pm, Fridays from 11 am to 5 pm, Saturdays from 9:30 am to 5 pm, and Sundays from noon to 5 pm.
