Red Cross Looks For Heroes

DANBURY —The American Red Cross of Western Connecticut wants to honor and celebrate local people at its Annual Breakfast Honoring Community Heroes to be held during Red Cross month in March. Nominations are being accepted in the following three categories: Emergency Response, Good Samaritan, and Community Impact.

The heroic event must be ongoing or have occurred between January 2001 and January 2004. All awards may be presented to adults (21 years and older) and youths (under 21 years). Nominations must be received by January 15 and nominees must live or work in one of the 17 towns throughout the Western Connecticut Chapter to be considered.
