  • Newtown Genealogy Club Program In Ridgefield, Sunday

    RIDGEFIELD — The November meeting of Newtown Genealogy Club will be held at Ridgefield Recreation Center, 195 Danbury Road (Route 35) in Ridgefield, on Sunday, November 9. The program will begin at 1:30 pm.

  • Finding Military Records For Genealogy

    The first meeting-program of the 2014-14 season for The Genealogy Club of Newtown will be on Wednesday, September 10, at C.H. Booth Library, 25 Main Street.

    The program will begin at 7, but the library’s Genealogy Help Desk will be open at 6:45 for those needing help with a genealogical problem or question.

    This month’s program will be a presentation by club chairperson Toni McKeen, who will speak on “The All-important Military Records.”

  • Genealogy Club Chair On Fleshing Out Family Research, November 13

    Toni McKeen, chairman of Newtown Genealogy Club, will present a lecture entitled “Putting Flesh on the Bones of Your Ancestor” at the club’s next meeting. The program will be offered on Wednesday, November 13, at 7 pm, at C.H. Booth Library in Newtown.
