    Gary A. Schneider, 51, of Newtown died quietly in his sleep April 24 at Yale New Haven Hospital. He was born February 6, 1963, in Stamford, and was the son of Walter F. Schneider, Sr, and the late Helen Zboray Schneider.

    John Edward Lehmann, 82, formerly of Newtown, died in Ocoee, Fla., April 18, surrounded by his family. He was born December 23, 1931, on Staten Island, to John A. Lehmann and Catherine (DeYoung) Lehmann.

  • Frances Marchetta Brennan

    Frances Marchetta Brennan, 60, of Newtown died peacefully at home on April 21, surrounded by her family. She was born March 29, 1954, in New Brunswick, N.J., to Antionette Marchetta and the late Joseph Marchetta, and was the beloved wife of Douglas K. Brennan for 35 years.

    Ernest D’Aversa, 90, died peacefully April 14, at the Harbor, the Village at East Farms, Waterbury, after a protracted illness. He was born in Waterbury, August 18, 1923, the son of Vincenzo and Vincenza (“Anna” Petraroia) D’Aversa. He was the fourth of five children, all of whom predeceased him.
