On Tuesday, June 14, the next C.H. Booth Library Brown Bag Business Hour will present "Know Before You Build: The Basics of Business Construction Projects," with speaker Scott Orlando.

Mr Orlando will explain the basics, and more, of choosing and contracting with an architect or designer, defining the scope of work, getting comprehensive bids from appropriate contractors, and having a fair construction contract. He will also discuss the importance of making sure what is contracted for is what is ultimately built, , and getting it all done without undue hassle.

The program will take place from noon to 1 pm in the meeting room of the town library, 25 Main Street.

Join others in the entrepreneurial, home office, and small business community for the fun and informative hour. Bring lunch and business cards; no registration is necessary.
