Mall Is Adding Seven Fashion And Lifestyle Stores

DANBURY — Danbury Fair Mall is raising the bar for must-shop destinations with the addition of seven fashion and lifestyle retailers this season.

The new stores — Coldwater Creek, Chico’s, Ann Taylor Loft, Brighton Collectibles, Bath & Body Works, New York & Company, and Soma by Chico’s — are among the most requested stores in the industry and top the wish list of Danbury-area shoppers. In line with Danbury Fair Mall’s upscale merchandise mix, surveys and customer feedback consistently placed these retail concepts high on the list of stores shoppers wanted to see added to the center’s merchant mix. The stores began opening in May and will continue through early 2007.

The mall has already welcomed women’s apparel, gifts, jewelry, and accessory retailer Coldwater Creek (May), fashion retailer Chico’s (July), and specialty lingerie retailer Soma by Chico’s (July) on the center’s lower level.

This month, modern apothecary Bath & Body Works will expand its presence with a new flagship location on the mall’s upper level. Ann Taylor Loft will open its doors on October 19, and upscale accessory retailer Brighton Collectibles will open a new location at the center on the lower level in November.

New York & Company will join the mall’s up-and-running stores in spring 2007.
