Lupus Group Plans Seminars

TRUMBULL — The Lupus Foundation of America, Connecticut chapter, is sponsoring two seminars on Sunday, May 7, from 1 to 4 pm, in the Westfield Community Room in Trumbull.

Cheng De Gu will speak on “Active Acupuncture” in the first seminar. Nancy E. Martin will discuss “Body/Mind Wellness Through Guided Imagery.”

Lupus Erythematosus is a chronic inflammatory disease of the body’s connective tissue. Its cause and cure are unknown. It affects more than 1.4 million Americans, primarily women in their childbearing years.
