To the Editor: According to the Alzheimer’s Association 2014 Alzheimer’s Disease Facts and Figures Report which was released Wednesday, March 19, an estimated 5.2 million Americans are living with Alzheimer’s disease today. • Marshals In Our Schools

To the Editor: I’d like to humbly suggest to my fellow townspeople, that - where possible - we employ concealed-carry teachers already teaching in our schools to act as school marshals for the purpose of emergency response professionals in the event of a school shooting. To the Editor: Hopefully, the [Team 26] bicyclists will accomplish what is so desperately needed. Failing this, we have to find a way to make every member of Congress reveal, along with their vote, the money they have received from the NRA.

  • Pax Americana

To the Editor: I have been wondering how many people are familiar with this term. And, for those who have heard it, who knows what it refers to? From Latin, it literally means “American Peace.” However, in the modern sen...

  • SBAC Test Is One Plate Too Many For NHS Juniors

To the Editor: Smarter Balance Assessment is a misnomer; especially if you are a junior in high school. Like the amazing plate spinners seen in the circus, many of our juniors balance heavy course loads, extracurricular activities, and jobs while determini...
