An Interfaith Gathering for Prayer and Comfort at Trinity Episcopal Church, 36 Main Street, is being planned for Monday, December 14. It will begin at 7 pm.

On the third anniversary of the shootings at Sandy Hook Elementary School, faith leaders from the Newtown religious communities will guide the community by reading from sacred texts, offering prayers for the community, and allowing for times of silence to reflect and/or pray in their own way.

Parking will be available behind Trinity Church, at 36 Main Street; and at Newtown Congregational Church, 14 West Street.
