OXFORD - Sandy Hook Volunteer Fire & Rescue Company will host its 29th annual Golf Tournament on Monday, October 3.

The tournament will be played this year at Oxford Greens, an 18-hole course at 99 Country Club Road in Oxford.

Cost is $150 per golfer, which includes 18 holes with a cart, followed by dinner , trophies and cash prizes, and a raffle with a number of different prizes.

Registration as soon as possible would be helpful, according to Golf Tournament Committee member Pete Barresi. "We really need to let the country club folks know how many people are coming so that they can plan for dinner," he said September 20.

sandyhookfire.com. They can also be picked up at the fire company's main station, 18-20 Riverside Road.

Donations of silent auction and raffle items are still being sought, and sponsorship opportunities are still available.
