Diana Reiff, 72, lifetime resident of Newtown, died peacefully in her home November 27. She was born December 23, 1943, in Danbury, a daughter of Hazel and John Sedor.

She was a florist at Stop & Shop, where her floral arrangements radiated almost as big as her personality. Mrs Reiff was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Her devoted husband of 57 years, Frank Reiff of Newtown; her children Chris Reiff, Thomas Reiff and wife, Wanda, and Barbara Castle and husband, Joseph, survive Mrs Reiff. Her loving grandchildren, Jackie Henkel and Erika Rustico and fiancé, Rich Dibble, as well as her youngest granddaughter, Alicia DeLucrezia and husband, Jonathon; four great-grandchildren who filled her heart with great joy and happiness; and her sister Lillian Emmons and husband, Charles, also survive her. She is additionally survived by a host of family friends who came to love and know her as "Grams." In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother John Jr.

There will be a memorial service at the convenience of the family.

The family requests that memorial donations be made to Food For Friends at foodforfriends.org, or the Multiple Sclerosis Society at nationalmssociety.org.
