Art Nights Invite Families To See Student Work
Hawley Elementary School, Sandy Hook Elementary School, and Head Oâ Meadow Elementary School each had student art work on view for families for Art Night celebrations recently.
Hawley and Sandy Hook School both had Art Nights on Tuesday, May 5. Parents were invited to visit both schools and wander the hallways viewing works their students had finished throughout the year.
At Hawley, art teacher Vicki Sheskin oversaw preparations for the night event. Sculptures created by students could be found in the schoolâs library, while art lined the walls starting from the entrance near the schoolâs main office.
At Sandy Hook School art teacher Leslie Gunn oversaw preparations. Parents entered the school, and were guided through hallways by student art work.
Head Oâ Meadow art teacher Donna Perugini oversaw the nightâs preparations for her school. Walking around the schoolâs main area, visitors could see sculptures, art, and more from each grade level at the school.
