Kathryn (DeLay) Gaffney, 79, of Syracuse, N.Y., passed peacefully on June 19.

She is survived by her high school sweetheart and husband of 58 years, Frederick Gaffney. She is also survived by her daughter, Kelly Gaffney Carrick; son, Thomas (Becki) Gaffney; daughter, Stacey (Matthew) Toth Selis, and many grand and great grandchildren.

Calling hours will be from 6 to 7:30 pm Monday, June 24, at Tindall Funeral Home, 1921 W. Genesee Street, Syracuse, N.Y. Burial will be 1:30 pm Wednesday, June 26, at Resurrection Cemetery, 208 South Main Street in Newtown.
