WestConn To Host Honors Conference

DANBURY — Western Connecticut State University will host Connecticut’s best and brightest college students as they participate in the third annual Connecticut Honors Conference from 10 am to 2 pm on Saturday, April 26, in Warner Hall on the university’s midtown campus at 181 White Street. The event will be free and open to the public, and lunch will be served.

Sponsored by the School of Arts & Sciences, the WestConn Honors Council, and the Connecticut Collegiate Honors Council, the conference will provide an opportunity for students in honors programs throughout the state to gather and present papers, display their artistic creations, or deliver musical performances.

The previous two conferences were sponsored by the Honors College at Southern Connecticut State University. This is the first year WestConn will host the event. Last year’s conference included about 35 presentations or performances.
