To the Editor:

We were there, and you weren't prepared!

A call to borough residents to attend a budget meeting went out in last week's Bee. We were there in over capacity numbers for the meeting room in the Edmond Town Hall, [May 8]. The Board of Burgesses should have anticipated a crowd and should have booked a different room.

The bad news is we did not get to have a meeting. The good news is that we still have time to get even more borough residents to attend next week to vote down an increase in our taxes.

Look for the date and time in the community calendar. It may be Wednesday, the 16th of May, around 7:30 pm.
