Vendors Wanted for

Annual Mom’s Night Out

SOUTHBURY — The Board of Alef Bet Preschool is seeking an assortment of vendors to sell their products at its Sixth Annual Mom’s Night Out.  This successful and well-attended shopping and social event is scheduled for the evening of Thursday, November 3, at the Walzer Family Jewish Community Campus, 444 Main Street North (Route 6/67).

Last year, more than 30 vendors sold their wares, an assortment that included skin care products, kitchen and gift ware, candy, jewelry, stationery and original-design wear for children and adults.

“Mom’s Night Out is planned for a time that is convenient for holiday shopping,” says event chair Mina Campos. “We are especially looking for local vendors who create original work or who sell items that are appropriate for gift-giving.”

Mom’s Night Out is a unique and fun shopping and social opportunity. Moms and grandmothers of children of all ages, as well as friends and neighbors, are invited to spend time socializing, enjoying wine, munchies and desserts, while shopping for a variety of products and gift items. The assortment of goods is generally not available for purchase at stores. Many are hand-crafted or one-of-a-kind pieces.

Vendor fee is $55. Send email to emilysmomlisa@aol.com to request an application or call 203-267-3387.

Moms Night Out is a fundraiser for Alef Bet Preschool, an early childhood education program of The Federation, Jewish Communities of Western CT.  Alef Bet serves children from across the region, including Southbury, Middlebury, Woodbury, Newtown, Oxford, Waterbury, Naugatuck and Brookfield.  For more information about Alef Bet Preschool, call 203-267-3387.
