Unquowa School ‘Take-A-Look Days’

FAIRFIELD — Unquowa School is opening its doors for prospective parents to visit the school prior to making any commitments. “Take-A-Look Days” will provide parents an inside look at the private school for boys and girls in grades PreK 3 through eighth grade.

The Unquowa School is in its 85th year and is Connecticut’s oldest private, coeducational, elementary day school. Parents who attend the “Take-A-Look Days” are asked to come without their children. Each day is oriented toward specific grades.

“Beyond mastery of the basics, our mission extends to provide opportunity and incentive for creative thinking and expression through accomplishment in the fine arts, drama, public speaking, safe and healthy physical education, and music,” Anne Cain of Newtown, associate director of admissions said. “We accomplish our mission in a clean, modern, safe, family atmosphere, led by strong adult role models.”
