Looking For Direction

Town Players of Newtown is an all-volunteer community theatre looking for directors for its 2007 season.

The Little Theatre on Orchard Hill Road is a cozy, intimate space capable of housing an audience of 70. Deceptively small, the stage is approximately 24 feet square with no fly space but its use is limited only by the imagination.

Town Players has housed productions as small as monologues and as large as Shakespearean plays with over two dozen cast members – sometimes all on stage at the same time.

The season is usually composed of four productions, one each staged in May, July, September and November, running for four consecutive weekends (Friday and Saturday nights), with one matinée on the third Sunday.
