The Science Of Crime,

For Young Adults

C.H. Booth Library Young Adult Department is offering a special program, “Forensics: The Science of Crime,” on Tuesday, August 3, from 1:30 to 3 pm.

A mock crime scene will be set up at the library. Participants will work with Newtown Police Office Rich Robinson to look for clues and evidence. Officer Robinson will lead the hands-on workshop and a demonstration of how police locate, collect and analyze evidence.

The program is for ages ten and up. It will be outdoors, weather permitting (moving into the first floor meeting room if inclement weather).

There is no charge to participate, but registration is requested. Sign up in person at the library’s main circulation desk or call 426-4533.
