The Newtown Babe Ruth Baseball 12-year-old All Stars went 3-2 in the recent Jimmy Fund Tournament, bowing out after a 1-0 loss to Southbury. Max Muraskiewicz pitched six strong innings, scattering five hits in the loss to Southbury.

Over the course of the five games, the Newtown pitching staff allowed just three earned runs while striking out 33 batters. The defense was solid, too, committing just four errors in 56 chances in those five games.
