The Eyes Of Women

LITCHFIELD — Women are invited to attend a weekend retreat, “Women And The Bible: Reading with New Eyes,” which will run from Friday, March 17, at 7 pm , until Sunday, March 19, at 1 pm, at Wisdom House Retreat and Conference Center.

Led by Jane Silk, RSM, the retreat will focus on the force of the Bible in the lives of women and the empowerment that occurs among them as they read and reflect upon the Bible in a communal setting.

Sister Silk is an experienced retreat and spiritual director. She is a frequent lecturer on Christian Spirituality. She holds a PhD in Theological Studies from Graduate Theological Foundation where she focused on feminine and masculine spiritualities.

The fee for the program, accommodations and all meals is $135 for a shared room, $175 for a private room, and $90 to attend as a commuter.
