To the Editor:

Many thanks to the two good Samaritans who, in Sunday's pouring rain, stopped to help us as my husband was working to change our flat tire on Main Street. (Just to be clear, I, at least, was holding the umbrella.) What may seem like a small act of kindness was really big to us. Thank you both.
