To the Editor:

The Rodgers and Capeci for Newtown Team would like to thank all those who came to support us this past Monday at the Republican Caucus. Indeed, we want to thank all who participated, including those who ran the event, for their enthusiasm and patience. While the proceeding was not without its hiccups and delays, it went remarkably smoothly given the size of the crowd and the venue. Caucuses are cumbersome, but they also lend themselves to the local spirit. In that regard, one fond memory was seeing everyone still present start pitching in to stack the chairs before that request was formally made. Let's build on that spirit of cooperation as the process moves forward.
