New Sunday School
The public is invited to visit Newtown Congregational Church on Saturday, August 28, to meet members of its Christian Education Committee and learn about the churchâs new Sunday school curriculum.
Called Workshop Rotation Model (WoRM), the curriculum works in cycles to present the same major Bible story or concept to children in four- or five-week sessions. Information about the program will be presented during the open house, which will run from 9 am until noon.
The churchâs Sunday school has been renamed to The Church Garden. Parents and children of all ages are invited to visit The Church Gardenâs brand-new classrooms, learn about workshop rotations and enjoy light refreshments.
The church is at 14 West Street.
