To The Editor:

We would like for our friends and neighbors and the people of Newtown to please join us in supporting Paul Lundquist in his reelection to Newtown's Legislative Council, District 1.

Paul has been a proud resident of our fine town for nearly 20 years and has been involved with many community organizations in that time. He has been an elected official on the Legislative Council since 2009 and is currently the vice chairman serving on both the Education and Finance Committees.

We have known Paul for about eight years and were naturally drawn to his genuine welcoming demeanor. This is a man who listens and takes time to consider all angles before responding and understands how to communicate with compassion and fairness. Paul has many leadership qualities, but we would place his honesty, objectivity, and integrity above all of them.

We know Paul has this town's best interests at heart and would like to thank him for all his time and service that he has already given to our community to date. Newtown has certainly benefited from all his hard work over the years and we hope this may continue.
