According to the Board of Education it will follow Policy 9221 in filling the vacancy to the board caused by the resignation of Kathy Hamilton, which was announced at its meeting on Tuesday, June 21.

Accordingly, the board will consider recommendations from town committees, as well as other appropriate sources, including individuals.

According to Town Charter, the Republican vacancy will be filled by a Republican candidate.
