SCAN’s 41st Annual Spring Art Show

To Blossom This Weekend

The Society of Creative Arts of Newtown (SCAN), Inc., will present its 41st Annual Spring Juried Art Show at Cyrenius H. Booth Library from Saturday, April 30, until Sunday, May 8.

Traditional and contemporary artists will be exhibiting their works in oils, pastels, watercolors, acrylics, mixed media, graphics and sculpture.

The jury of selection and awards includes Patricia Billeci, Bridget Herbst and Andrew Lattimore. Over $1,000 in cash prizes will be awarded during an opening reception and awards ceremony scheduled for Sunday, May 1, from 2 to 4 pm. The public is invited for the reception and awards ceremony.

C.H. Booth Library is at 25 Main Street in Newtown. The SCAN show will be in the library’s first floor meeting room, best reached from the rear parking lot.
