Samuel L. Eisenbach

Samuel L. Eisenbach, 96, of Bradenton, Fla., died January 26. He was born September 24, 1917, in Delano, Penn., the son of Emily and Walter Eisenbach.

Mr Eisenbach moved to Newtown in 1965. He worked for Ivan Sorvall for many years, and was a member of the Newtown Volunteer Ambulance Corps. He was also a member of the Newtown Lions Club.

Mr Eisenbach worked at the Singer Sewing Center in Newtown, along with his former wife, Arlene Eisenbach Nowak, for many years. They served as grand marshals of the Newtown Labor Day Parade in 1986.

He moved to Florida more than 20 years ago, where he remained active with the Lions Club there, and was involved in many community activities.

Mr Eisenbach is remembered as a very caring and unselfish man. He was beloved by friends and family.

Three sons, David of Newtown, and Michael and Ronald of Southbury; and five grandchildren survive Mr Eisenbach.

Visitation is scheduled for Saturday, February 1, at 10 am, at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church,7461 Prospect Road, Sarasota, Fla., with a service at 11 am.
