Richard C. Timko, 81, beloved husband of Marion Martone Timko of Newtown, died June 27 at the River Glen Health Care Center, with his loving family at his side. Born in Bridgeport May 22, 1934, he was a son of the late John and Irene Lisnay Timko. 

Before his retirement, Mr Timko was a dairyman with Beechmont Dairy and Marcus Dairy, and later was employed with Pepperidge Farm.

He was an avid sportsman who enjoyed fishing and hunting, and had a special love for music.

In addition to his wife of 53 years, survivors include two daughters, Dawn Olson of Newtown and Dori Boucher, and her husband Francis, of Bethel; five grandchildren, Jade, Jordin, and Jerica Olson, and Ryan and Jamie Boucher; two great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. 

Relatives and friends may call at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, Tuesday, June 30, from 4 to 8 pm. Funeral services will take place Wednesday, July 1, at 11 am, at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Newtown Village Cemetery.
