Residents Sought For Commission Posts

First Selectman Pat Llodra is seeking residents to fill several opening on local appointed boards and commissions. In some cases the appointments are required to be affiliated with a specific political party, while in other cases unaffiliated voters are encouraged to consider serving.

Current openings exist on:

The Economic Development Commission, with a position available to any registered voter; last day to apply is February 3.

The Hattertown Historic District, with an alternate position available to a Democrat or unaffiliated voter

Inland Wetlands Commission, with a vacant position to any registered voter and a second vacancy available to either a Republican or unaffiliated voter.

Sustainable Energy Commission, with an open position available to any registered voter.

Lake Lillinonah Authority, with an open position available to any registered voter.

Also, the Design Advisory Board has one full board position available to any registered voter and one alternate position available to any registered voter (but no more than one of the same party)
