Resident Participating In Traditional Classical Ballet Production

NORWALK - Yael Bialik of Newtown will be performing with other dancers from Norwalk Metropolitan Youth Ballet's Ensemble Ètoile in Norwalk Symphony Orchestra's "Joys of the Season" concert this holiday season.norwalksymphony.org.

NMYB's dancers will be performing select pieces of choreography from Tchaikovsky's beloved Nutcracker Suite on Saturday, December 17, at 5 pm, at Norwalk City Hall Theatre, 125 East Avenue.

The event will also include caroling, and a performance of the Hallelujah Chorus from Handel's Messiah.

Tickets range from $25 to $50 for adults; all student tickets are $10.

Norwalk Metropolitan Youth Ballet is in its third season providing children in the greater Norwalk area with a traditional classical ballet education. NMYB Artistic Director Adam James Holms, MA, teaches each class to students of all ages and skill levels six days each week.

NMYB serves recreational dancers as well as those who wish to pursue a preprofessional path in ballet and the performing arts.
