Reed Intermediate School hosted its final round of the National Geographic Bee on Thursday, January 14.

To make it to the final round, students competed in clusters.

After six rounds and a championship round, according to Reed teacher Maura Drabik, Ethan McGinnis from Kirsten Strobel and James Roodhuyzen's cluster was named as the school's winner and Katelyn Zaniewski from Petrice DiVanno and Matt Dalton's cluster was named the runner-up.

The pair answered eight questions in a championship round of the competition before Ethan was named as the school's champion.
